We Came, We Played, We Worshiped - Sports and More 2011

It was a week of fun, sports, growing, serving, and sharing for this year's Sports & More 2011 - Play 2 Worship! Even in the midst of an East Texas heat wave, kids and coaches gave their all as they developed and honed their skills in 6 different events. We dug into the Word through the means of live actors, teachers, and Lego sets. We learned why God is worthy of our worship as Creator, Father, and Redeemer.

An amazing group of more than 80 adult and youth volunteers served the 130+ kids who participated in Play 2 Worship! And throughout the week, this group brought 267 pairs of underwear and 267 pairs of socks to give to the Buckner Missions Center! These are great statistics, but they can't capture the hugs that were given, encouragement offered, friendships formed, and hours of service given. If you had a part of this week with us, thank you so much!! You make God smile!
