Men's Ministry

The Men's Ministry at LCC is a fairly recent development. In fact, there is a team of men working to develop our ministry further. Right now, the Men's Breakfast is the core of what we do, but we are expanding.

Men's Breakfast

We meet the first Friday of every month at 6a to enjoy man's best meal, breakfast. Our great cooks usually throw together a hearty breakfast of eggs, sausage, and pancakes. Usually, one of our fellow men will share a testimony and encouragement from God's work in their life.

Every Man's Battle - Winning the War on Sexual Temptation One Victory at a Time

From the television to the Internet, print media to videos, men are constantly faced with the assault of sensual images. It is impossible to avoid such temptations...but, thankfully, not impossible to rise above them.

Shattering the perception that men are unable to control their thought lives and roving eyes, Every Man's Battle shares the stories of dozens who have escaped the trap of sexual immorality and presents a practical, detailed plan for any man who desires sexual purity-perfect for men who have fallen in the past, those who want to remain strong today, and all who want to overcome temptation in the future.

Grill 'n Chill

The Men of LCC gather on the 3rd Thursday of every month at Brent Smith's house (2 Cedar Hill Rd. Longview, TX).

There'll be a grill and no frills; veggies are optional. Please bring $4 for burgers and a chip, dessert, or soda.
